Sharknado's Tara Reid Thinks Whale Sharks = Sharks Mating With Whales

Sharknado's Tara Reid Thinks Whale Sharks are Sharks Mating With Whales

We know you've been wondering; what are Bro Council's thoughts on Syfy's Sharknado? The answer, of course, is that we love it. Like so much of the population, we were enraptured by this low-budget and high-class made-for-TV movie starring Ian Ziering and Tara Reid. And yes, I was one of the thousands of people blowing up Twitter during the premiere. In fact, when the sequel was announced later that week plans immediately went into effect for a viewing party.

Now, you might be wondering what our thoughts are on Tara Reid? OK, glad you asked! Sure, she's attractive, but let's be honest; her acting skills are why she is in straight to video releases. Oh, and hey! Guess what? She's just as oblivious as her acting is bad. She appeared on an episode of Sharks After Dark on Discovery this week, part of the channel's Shark Week, and decided to explain whale sharks to the audience. Here's a direct quote:

I don't wanna sound stupid when I do this show today, so I learned a little education on sharks. I look up sharks on the Internet and I see whale sharks. So I'm like that must mean that a whale and a shark have sex and then it made me think how do a whale and a shark have sex?

Wow.

Check out the video below to see the full explanation, and the classic reaction of the show's host, Josh Wolf.

(To clarify, Josh Wolf isn't the product of a guy named Josh and a wolf mating.)
