Radio station Power 105.1 recently had rapper DMX in their studios and talked him into using Google on a laptop. The humor comes from the fact that this may have been the first time he has ever used a computer on his own.
So what did DMX think? The results are in, and he hates it. The user interface is confusing, he hates the spinning beach ball of death, and thinks that a "google" is something a baby would say. Mr. MX does brings up a good point: what is a google?
This video is too good to spoil any more, so just check it out for yourself below.
By the way, Google got their name this way: The name 'Google' is a play on the word 'googol,' coined by Milton Sirotta, nephew of American mathematician Edward Kasner. A 'googol' refers to the number represented by a 1 followed by 100 zeros. It's a very large number. In fact, there isn't a googol of anything in the universe -- not stars, not dust particles, not atoms. Google's use of the term reflects our mission to organize the world's immense (seemingly infinite) amount of information and make it universally accessible and useful.
