The continuing series about life spent in a cubicle. In this episode, Jimmy B. looks at how a typical day in the office is spent, and what "rating" the moods around the cubicle usually reflect at different times of the day. Enjoy.
Morning Drive – More than likely, you left a little later than what would make your commute a comfortable one, but then again, what do you care? You know where you’re headed and your boss isn’t going to beat you into the office anyway. Here is the best quote I can pass along to you, “As long as you arrive before your superior, you AREN’T late”. So, take your time and relax like I do; listen to music... Read More
Oh, the joy of opening baseball cards! I loved it as a kid, and now as an adult I recently had the chance to open up some of the coolest boxes of cards available. These are known as "box breaks" and we were excited to check out the packs. There's even an appearance from Tim Tebow and Derby in the videos.
Take a look below for five box breaks from the 2018 Topps and Bowman baseball lines - complete with autographs, jersey cards, Buddy the Elf, and even a cheeseburger card. Enjoy!

The weather is nice, spring is (finally) here, and the urge for fire-seared meat is high. Will you take advantage of grilling season? Every man should know how to grill - it's an important part of manhood. But what method should you use?
It's one of the world's oldest debates. Charcoal versus gas. Both methods have their fans and their detractors. Gas is clean and quick, yet imparts no additional flavor to the food. Charcoal can be a hassle and make a mess, but it will give food that added “just grilled” taste. I don't want to make any enemies in my inaugural Bro Council column by saying which is better, but for the purpose of this guide I want to focus... Read More
We have been on a search for the best wireless Bluetooth headphones for a while now. It's difficult, right? Sometimes they don't fit well and fall out when you're running, often times they sound terrible, and other times they simply have a thick wire attached to giant boxes that more closely resemble a min-fridge than something that should be put in your ear.
We stumbled upon the iSport Super Slim headphones from Monster, and we were intrigued. Are they really super slim? Do they have monster sound? Will they work in the gym?
Read on to find out.
The first thing we noticed when we took the headphones out of the box was that they actually were... Read More
Today we ask the question 'Can you do it yourself?'
This series will explore home improvements and other fun (but sometimes challenging) projects and we'll see if you can do them yourself, or if you should hire someone. I will do most of them myself, and I have no formal experience with home improvement, construction, or engineering. I just tend to enjoy learning new things and this is an opportunity to try out many different home improvements.
First up is a bathroom vanity installation. Enjoy!
In 2013, the fifth installment of the iconic Die Hard franchise was released and now, rumors of Die Hard 6 have been swirling. I haven't even seen A Good Day to Die Hard yet, but I'm sure I will eventually. It received a lot of lukewarm reviews. Most of the ones I've seen either hint strongly, or outright say, the series is headed for either a passing-of-the-torch from Bruce Willis to a younger actor (which could be why the new movie heavily involves John McClane's son), or an outright reboot, back to the very beginning. Due to several circumstances, a remake would be a truly awful idea. The current climate in the movie... Read More
What is the best thing you can do as a guy to impress a woman?
-Spencer
Emily's Take: If there was a magic answer to this question, it would be – be yourself!
There's no magic formula that I can give you to guarantee that a random woman will be impressed by you. We're all different so while one woman may find your jokes funny, the next will find them annoying. It depends on our moods too; one day I'm in a mood to laugh and the next I'd rather have an intellectual conversation.
Some are impressed by your musical talents, intellect or sense of humor and then you have woman that are most impressed by your bank account balance or the... Read More
Hey... so I'm a twenty-one year old art student and basically I'm trying to break into mainstream America and it's snazzy dating scene. Unfortunately, I've got a few issues that I'd like your insight on.
I'm not a bro - I don't watch sports. Also, my city has a very angry "bro scene" and I'm too in love with life to walk around with a flat-billed hat and look angry all the time.
I can't pop my collar or wear funny looking clothes. Should I just get a suit? Not a black one but a tan one like all the Irish guys wear in Goodfellas?
I have no idea what to talk about. All I do is read, go fishing, and work on my stuff. What am I going to... Read More
There are a lot of falsehoods floating around the internet, and I feel like I should write this to clear up some misconceptions and outright lies about my favorite website (besides this one, of course!); Craigslist. You've probably heard of it. I myself kind of thought it was a joke at first, or something to fear. It can, in fact, be a very valuable resource for multiple outlets. Plus, if this article inspires you to begin using Craigslist I'll probably be better off personally, because it relies on involvement from the site's users. So read on, and get posting on Craigslist. There's a world of used... Read More
