In honor of Bro Council's trip to the Beard Team USA National Championships this past weekend, BuzzFeed.com has "The 15 Craziest Beards from Around the World." Number 9 looks like waffle fries, I'm pretty sure number 13 owns a tattoo parlor by my house, and number 14 is clearly Sherlock Holmes, but other than that, they are all pretty much fantastic...or fantastically gross, depending on your perception of face fur. (Editor's Note: I counted at least three of those people who were in Lancaster for the championships. Sweet.) Link: 15 Craziest Beards from Around the World
In celebration of the Beard Team USA National Championships, we've been trying to find other awesome beards around the web. Brian Wilson of the San Francisco Giants is definitely in the category of awesome beards, and he's also pretty funny. We recently found a video of Brian talking to Chris Rose about "The Machine". We didn't know what "The Machine" was so we did a little digging. Now, you have to watch the video to see what's going on. Hint: it's payback to Chris Rose for an earlier prank.
From BuzzFeed.com, they have a series of photographs of guys being scared silly at a haunted house in California. A lot of them are younger than the Bro Council audience, but I've learned several things from these photos: It's not Bro Council approved to touch other guys in haunted houses. They really like backwards hats in California. Grabbing on to your bro's shirt is clearly the best way to protect yourself from undead zombies and ghosts. Check it out here: Scared Bros at a Haunted House For those of you new to Bro Council, that's Pat that I Photoshooped into the picture on the left. We make fun of him a lot on here.
We haven't written about Epic Meal Time yet, and it's about time we start. They've made gigantic S'mores, an omelette with 84 eggs (no, that's not a typo), and tequila tacos. But this one is definitely their masterpiece: The Sloppy Roethlisberger Aside from the fact that the "chef" in this video looks like a cross between Ray and Will Ferrell, there is also 20 pounds of bacon, 13 pounds of ground beef and 11 pounds of sausage in this manly meat monstrosity. You could also probably feed the entire Steelers roster with a Sloppy Roethlisberger, considering it has over 100,000 calories. Here's a random comparison chart of what 100,000 calories looks... Remember the basketball Dream Team from the 1992 Olympics? Michael Jordan, Pippen, Stockton and Malone, Magic, Bird, Ewing...this was a team for the ages. And the names just rolled off the tongue; unlike Nnamdi Asomugha which I still don't know how to pronounce. Vick is a little easier to say, but man he was hard to watch yesterday. Although he threw for 300 yards and became the all-time leading rusher for a Quarterback in the NFL, he threw for four interceptions, wasted a lot of time at the end of the first half, and took his team down. The Dream Team. I think Reid looks like he can still ball. So far the Eagles buying a championship hasn't worked out... Read More
Have you seen this man? Because if you have, you know one of the smartest criminals ever. ( I wish they made a font called "Sarcastic") Dude apparently broke into someone's car and stole their cell phone. For some reason he wanted to take that awesome picture of himself, and because of her settings it updated directly to her Facebook. Amazing! So if you're a Bro Council reader in Atlanta, keep an eye out for this crafty thief. Hide your phone, or at the very least set your GPS and photos to automatically upload and watch the fun happen. So you say your bridge is missing...say what? Someone stole a bridge??? In Lawrence County Pennsylvania someone took apart a 50 foot long bridge worth around $100,000 with a blow torch. A blow torch?? This must be the greatest criminal mastermind after DB Cooper. The bridge went all Keyser Söze, except instead of convincing the world he did exist...it really doesn't.
