WWE Flashback: Iron Sheik and Hacksaw Jim Duggan's Arrest
The Iron Sheik and his "camel clutch" was always one of the most hated heel characters in WWE history. Back in the days that it was on Sunday afternoons on the USA Network, he would do battle with All-American heroes like Hulk Hogan and Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
"Sheiky," as he refers to himself now, has taken to Twitter to let everyone know that he's alive and well. Oh, and to crudely insult everyone he can - and when we say crude, we really mean CRUDE and EVERYONE. We won't even mention them here, but we did just find an animated video where Sheiky narrates a crazy story about him and Hacksaw Jim.
During a traffic stop in 1987,... Read More
Ask A Woman: Do Girls Like Beards?
How do I find a girl who's into beards? I have one (a beard - not a girl), and I feel like most girls don't like them. Is that true?
-RJ
Emily's Take: The good news is that I know women that do find beards attractive but it is going to take all of my strength to not offer you advice that simply states "shave your beard." I fall into the category of women that do not like kissing men with beards. That being said, a beard is not usually a relationship deal breaker. If I'm into a guy, I'm going to be open to dating him whether or not he has a beard, a mustache, bleached hair or is going bald.
The state of your beard says a lot about you, the... Read More
What You Think Impresses A Girl vs. What Actually Does
Sometimes I overhear my single guy friends talking about how they’re going to impress a girl. “She was all about my new jeans” is something one might say. Or, “One look at my new convertible, and she’s all mine.”
Yeah, girls think that stuff is cool, but clothes and phones are not “datable” qualities that I hear single girls talk about. This is what’s really up:
What you think impresses her: A brand new phone.
What actually impresses her: Staying off of it while you’re on a date.
Girls like to feel respected, and nothing says, “I’m bored” more than you checking some game score or texting... Read More
Essentials: Bowling (In Under Five Minutes)
Bowling is a great sport. Not only is it a great date atmosphere, but you can continue playing the sport for your entire life. Although the sport is pretty simple at its core (roll the ball, hit pins, repeat) there are some things you should know before you get out to the lanes.
So let's get started on a few simple things you should know about the sport of bowling.
The first experience most people have with bowling balls come in the form of the "house balls" that bowling alleys put out for new bowlers to use if they don't have their own ball. They work fine for a once-a-year bowler, but they have some limitations:
It's... Read More
Throwback Friday: The Godzilla Weather Report
Ladies and gentlemen, on this Throwback Friday we bring you the best weather report ever. If you haven't seen it, check it out immediately and then read the rest of the article. If you have seen it, then we are here to help you figure out why this report happened.
The report was created by a guy named Aaron Justus who used to work for a station in Richmond, Virginia with the call sign WTVR-CBS 6. He was getting ready to leave the station and decided to put together the fake forecast as a farewell sendoff. He explained some more about the background story on his blog:
This video was never on air. It was part of an ongoing joke... Read More
Throwback Friday: Flea Market? Mini Mall
You have to love local commercials...cheap, low production quality, and bad acting. In this week's retro video a guy named Sammy Stephens raps and dances for a "Flea Market Montgomery" ad.
The Background
Sammy was an on-air personality for Montgomery, Alabama's WMGY radio station and was asked to help create a commercial for a local flea market. The video was recorded in 2006, and featured Sammy singing and dancing about the flea market. The concept was pretty simple, but the combination of his rhythm and crazy eyes made this video a viral sensation.

Just remember a couple things before you get all 'uppity'... Read More
Throwback Friday: Randall Cunningham Was A Beast
Randall Cunningham was the first true dual-threat superstar in the NFL. And there have been other QB's who are as dangerous with their feet as with their arms, but in our opinion no one has topped Cunningham with his blend of speed, accuracy, and football smarts.
The Background
We had many highlights to pick from when we decided to make Cunningham the focus of Throwback Friday, but none encapsulates the QB as well as this pass to Fred Barnett during a 1990 game against the Buffalo Bills.
In the play, Cunningham was throwing from his end zone and was about to be sacked by one of the most feared defensive ends ever, Bruce... Read More
