Check out the interview below!

Throwback Friday: Boom! Goes The Dynamite

Throwback Friday: Boom! Goes The Dynamite
Brian Collins was covering the March 22, 2005 game between the Indiana Pacers and the New Jersey Nets - and it was a horrible performance. Millions of people have seen this video, but not everyone knows the story behind it, so here it is. Collins agreed to be on Ball State University's college newscast because the regular sportscaster was ill. The teleprompter worked, but a new prompter-operator accidentally fast-forwarded through the script. Collins improvised (admittedly, very badly) and uttered the now immortal phrase "boom goes the dynamite." It wasn't all bad for Collins, he landed a job on TV as a reporter, appeared on... Read More

Throwback Friday: The Backin Up' Lady Remixed

Throwback Friday: The Backin Up' Lady Remixed
We love the mid-west! Where else could you get a witness to a robbery that sounds like this? Diana Radcliff walked into a convenience store in Kansas City, Missouri on September 1, 2010 and she witnessed a failed robbery attempt. Radcliff fell to the floor as her friends/amigos behind the counter started shooting at the criminals as they ran out of the building. Luckily, everyone was safe and she was able to give this amazing interview about the incident to a reporter for KMBC-TV. Here's how she described the incident: I was putting one more tap of coffee in my coffee cup and out of the corner of my eyes, I saw two guys come in,... Read More

Throwback Friday: Lazy Sunday

Throwback Friday: Lazy Sunday
Today's throwback video of the week is "Lazy Sunday." If you didn't know, it's a song that was the resurgence for Saturday Night Live. Back in 2005 SNL was struggling. They were trying to find their identity, and had tried a "Digital Short" once. Digital Short's are sketches that are recorded in advance, instead of the typical live performances you see on SNL. Chris Parnell and Andy Samberg got together with a couple of the SNL writers that Samberg grew up with and knocked out Lazy Sunday in one day. The two eat cupcakes from the Magnolia Bakery, buy snacks at a convenience store, and more on their way to see The Chronicles of Narnia.... Read More

Ask A Woman: My Girlfriend Is Underage And Pregnant - What Now?

Ask A Woman: My Girlfriend Is Underage And Pregnant - What Now?
Hello, I'm an 18 year old guy who found out a week before my birthday that my 16 year old teenage girlfriend is pregnant. First off, is it illegal to continue having sex with her in Missouri? In addition to an already scary time for myself, her parents are legitimately crazy. They will say one thing yet do another, lie to me and her about ridiculous things, I know my girlfriend wants an abortion and doesn't want to keep the baby, but since she is a minor her parents aren't allowing abortion or any other option then to keep it. I care about her, but I don't want to be stuck with child support, should I just try to keep the relationship... Read More

Throwback Friday: Baz Luhrmann's Graduation Advice + Lyrics

Throwback Friday: Baz Luhrmann's Graduation Advice + Lyrics
Ahhh...1998. I was 17, our very own Pat was in his late 40's, and Baz Luhrmann put out a song that I liked because of the beat. And every year that I get older, it makes more sense. The song came from an article called "Advice, like youth, probably just wasted on the young" written by Mary Schmich in the Chicago Tribune as a column in 1997. She described the article as a commencement speech she would give if she were asked to give one. Australian film director Baz Luhrmann used the lyrics on an album of his in 1998. Baz has directed Moulin Rouge and The Great Gatsby among others. The speech was narrated by an Australian voice actor... Read More
