I'm a sucker for infomercial crap but this is ridiculous. And aren't these just the "footie pajamas" you wore as a kid without the feet? Ralphie even wore something like this on A Christmas Story.
Let's start with this....if I ever see you at a tailgate wearing one of these....I will throw a full can of beer at your head. That even includes Ray if he gets the bright idea to make this required wardrobe at the Bro Council office.
No way this is even close to being acceptable - Bro Council, NOT Approved
Usually we post funny videos from the internet's early day's in the mid-200's, but today we're going to throwback all the way to the 1980's. A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Commercial for their toy figures? Score.
This brought back some good memories. I think part of this weekend may be spent in my storage locker looking for figures. Enjoy your weekend, bros.
Does anyone else find it strange that the NHL is fining players like Kris Letang for questionable hits, and then posting videos that "Check out the top 10 bone-crunching hits from the past week!"? I do. So this week we have a first in the Bro Council Hockey Fight of the Week:
The NHL's "Bone Crushing Hits Of The Week"
Brendan Shanahan's Questionable Suspension
So who wins this one? The NHL or the NHL? Tough decision. I'm going to vote for the NHL Players' Emergency Assistance Fund - they get the fine money when players get suspended.
Kevin Kolb has to be one of the luckiest guys ever. He has parlayed every fan's favorite position in the NFL, the backup quarterback, into what will be 6 years of making over $12 million a year. But how did this happen? Is it really a pyramid scheme? Is Kevin Kolb even real, or another Keyser Söze? Let's look at the timeline and see:
2007
Kolb is drafted by Philly in the second round.
His totals for the year are 3 rushes for -2 yards.
That's it. He earned over a million dollars this year. Chump change compared to what was to come.
2008
Kolb sees extended action for the first time against Baltimore: throws an NFL record 108 yard interception, has a QB rating... Read More
There's all kinds of things that wash up on the beach; driftwood, messages in bottles, and Cubans are all things that immediately come to mind. Giant Lego men aren't high on my list of potentials though.
Jeff Hindman found one this week though. Jeff is a Florida resident who found an 8 ft., 100 pound giant Lego man on the beach this week. No one knows where he came from, is he an Atlantis resident? A robot from the future sent here to destroy Mickey Mouse (see picture to the left) and establish Legoland as the premier amusement park of the future? Or something more, or less, nefarious...
A spokeswoman for Legoland said that the Lego man is... Read More
I stopped reading newspapers when I graduated high school and started using the internet. The thing I miss the most is the comic section...especially Pearls Before Swine. Check out the strips from the last two days...I check them every day, hilarious stuff. The goat is the smart one, the pig is the ddumb one, and the rat is just mean.
You can check them out here everyday.
I've never been a Cleveland Browns fan. Ever. Never, ever. But I will say this; I'm rooting for Colt McCoy. I'm not sure exactly why, but there's something I like about the guy. Plus, it seems like everyone in Cleveland hates the guy and I feel like the fans need to be more accepting there; especially considering he's the first decent QB they've had since Derek Anderson's one OK season in 2007. I don't know why they would be so hard on a guy after having such dignitaries as Seneca Wallace, Brady Quinn, Ken Dorsey, Charlie Frye, Kelly Holcomb, Luke McCown, Tim Couch, Doug Pederson, Spergon Wynn, and Ty Detmer line up behind center for them since they came back...
